Forging

We forge your dreams into reality with our state-of-the-art equipment and skilled craftsmen.

Forging Services

Forging is a manufacturing process that involves the shaping of metal using localized compressive forces. It is one of the oldest known metalworking processes in manufacturing industry’s history. Although it is an ancient way, it still has a part of most metalworking technique.

There are two types of forging. Manufacturers will depend on the type of metal and the requirements of the design to select the right forging process.

  • Hot forging

Hot forging is through heating up the workpiece to hammer, upset, press or force. It can be defined as the process of metal shaping.

  • Cold forging

Cold forging involves either impression die forging or true closed die forging with lubricant and circular dies at or near room temperature.

These two kinds of forging are the deformation of metals at a specific temperature so that the recrystallization will occur simultaneously with the process.

Processes of Forging

  • Forging: Depending on what metals will be regarded as the materials, the manufacturers will choose the right types of forging.
  • Annealing: In order to change the shapes and properties of metals, it is the key step of the forging process. Through this step, the metal will be increased the ductility and reduced the hardness.
  • Shaping: In this step, we can get any shapes that we want.
  • Hardening: Harden the workpiece and strengthen the deformation.
  • Tempering:The process of tempering produces harder and tougher parts that are weldable and ductile. Part of this toughness is greater resistance to wear and abrasion.

Advantages of Forging

Compared with other production methods, forging is characterized by a number of advanges.

  • High efficiency: make workpieces in a fast production.
  • Improved strength property: the controlled deformation of the forging process results in metallurgical soundness and exceptional mechanical properties.
  • Flexible & customized designs: produce the workpiece as clients requested.

Application of Forging

  • Automotive

Through this technique, the automotive parts will have the properties of strength, ductility and resistance to impact.

  • Agriculture

Produce the machines that use in agriculture.

  • Industrial Equipment

Industrial equipment needs to be reliable and available to ensure constant and continuous production. Equipment made by forging can perfectly meet the requirements.

  • Aerospace

The strength and endurance of forged parts make them a necessity.
